Innocent until proven guilty, that is supposed to be the foundation of our judicial system, however, that has long been a myth.

If this attack on these high-profile citizens currently being detained over the Jan.6th incident were black, our nation would be exploding with violence and protests.

Whom do you consider to be the most corrupt Democrat Politician?
Fox News reports that a Pennsylvania man charged in connection with the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol was severely beaten by Washington D.C. jail guards at a corrections center, according to defense attorneys and another defendant held at the facility who referenced the attack in court Tuesday.

During a court appearance via Zoom on Tuesday, an inmate named Ronald Sandlin told U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich that guards at the Correctional Treatment Facility in Washington, D.C., were allegedly subjecting those held in connection to the Jan. 6 attack to violence, threats and verbal harassment. Sandlin described an attack that allegedly happened last month to another defendant charged in the Jan. 6 event, Ryan Samsel, while held at the facility operated by the D.C. Department of Corrections.

He told the judge that Samsel, “was severely beaten by correctional officers, [is now] blind in one eye, has a skull fracture and detached retina,” Politico reported. Richard Barnett, also charged in connection to the riot, was tackled “to the ground” by guards, Sandlin said.

One can only imagine who handed down the orders to have these individuals tortured and beaten, one does not have to speculate too hard to find the Pelosi Gestapo’s in charge in D.C., but of course that is pure speculation.

How do the American public accept everything that is taking place in our nation right now? Antifa and Black Lives Matter can attack federal and local buildings, law enforcement, riot and loot until their cities are burning.

“There is a pattern of abuse and of targeting of the defendants who are being held pursuant to what happened on Jan. 6,” said Joseph McBride of New York, a defense lawyer for Barnett. “It is targeted. It is ruthless. It is nonstop.”

However when a group enters the Capitol building, which has been proven to not be by force nor violent, these individuals are quickly hunted down and detained. But the same damn agencies say they cannot identify the Antifa and Black Lives Matter individuals.

At the same time the few who are detained are quickly released, provided legal funds for whatever they need.

Politico reported: For weeks, Capitol riot defendants being held in Washington have complained that they are locked in their cells with virtually no human contact for 23 hours a day. But a startling, graphic account offered publicly in court on Tuesday by one such inmate, Ronald Sandlin, went further: alleging that guards have subjected those charged in the Jan. 6 events to violence, threats and verbal harassment.

“Myself and others involved in the Jan. 6 incident are scared for their lives, not from each other but from correctional officers,” Sandlin said during a bail hearing conducted by video before U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich. “I don’t understand how this is remotely acceptable,” he added, saying he was being subjected to “mental torture.”

In an unusual direct plea to the judge, Sandlin said another Capitol riot defendant, Ryan Samsel, “was severely beaten by correctional officers, [is now] blind in one eye, has a skull fracture and detached retina.”
Sandlin also described racial tension between minority guards and the largely white defendants, some of whom have been publicly accused of membership in or association with white supremacist groups.

Sandlin said guards tackled “to the ground” one high-profile prisoner, Richard Barnett, 60, who was photographed with his boot up on a desk in Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office. Sandlin said one of the guards declared, “I hate all white people and your honky religion.”

Imagine that, the individual who “insulted” Pelosi’s office and desk has been brutally beaten by jail guards. Then the black jail guard declared he hates all white people and honky religion!

Fox News continued, Attorneys representing Samsel, Steven Metcalf and Elisabeth Pasqualini, did not return voicemails left by Fox News on Wednesday.

Speaking with the Washington Post, Metcalf detailed how his client told him about an incident that happened on March 20 when Samsel said he complained that the guards took hours to bring him toilet paper and an argument ensued.

According to Metcalf, Samsel was moved to another cell that evening and by midnight two guards arrived, tied his arms behind his back with zip-tie handcuffs and “beat him to a bloody pulp.”

The lawyer said his client has since suffered seizures for the first time in his life. The attack allegedly left him with a broken nose, dislocated jaw and damaged vision in one eye.

When he saw his client for the first time over video two weeks after the incident, Metcalf said Samsel’s face was still black and blue and the skin around his wrists stripped off.

“I have seen Ryan. He has two black eyes to this day, two weeks later. All the skin is ripped off both wrists, which shows the zip ties and how tight they were,” Metcalf said in a separate interview with Politico. “Other inmates said his face looked like a tomato that was stomped on.”

“We intend on filing a lawsuit against the two specific guards and the facility responsible for this scenario because Ryan Samsel did not deserve to get targeted and treated like this,” Metcalf added.

This is beyond unacceptable and is heartbreaking on every damn level! Then law enforcement wonders why there is such a huge divide between the people and law enforcement agencies.

It is not a black vs police issue we have in our nation, it is extreme overreach by government agencies who use and abuse the citizens like they are cattle.

It is vital for people to set aside their differences and start talking to each other, start providing truths and evidence so we can unite together, begin to heal together and understand who and what the extremely dangerous threats we all face together.
