Compression testing on corrugated boxes is different from the usual testing procedures on packaging material. In order to perform this test, the samples are tested inside the compression apparatus after they have been filled with water. During the test, the material will be pressed under high pressure and the force required to crush the box will be recorded.

After testing the material, the results can be analyzed based on the standard compression parameters used to identify the properties of the material being tested. Some of Box Compression Tester the characteristics that can be identified using a compression test are the density, tensile strength, burst index, resistance to puncture, flexural strength and modulus of elasticity. Each property has its own measurement.
