Now let us take a look at how to perform the squats. To do a proper squat, you have to first take a wide stance. After that you have to lift your hands in front. This helps to maintain your body balance. Once you get a good balance, you have to sit down as if you are sitting back on a chair. Make sure that you are keeping your feets flat on the ground. Your knees should be held in such a position that it lies behind your toes. Keep your chest up and look in the forward direction. While keeping your head, chest and hands in the same position, slowly get up as if you are getting up from a chair.
