There is no better time than December (also known as party season) to try out different looks with eyeshadow.  When I finally got my hands on the Bold Bows palette from Mac Cosmetics, it was only natural for me to use it.  I could hardly contain my enthusiasm.  It comes with a total of six vivid colors, ranging from a toasty warm yellow to a shimmery red and a deep brown.  Now, I'll admit that I'm a sucker for a soft-glam bronze-y look, so these shades are a bit out of my comfort zone.  However, it turns out that working with bright colors is a lot of fun, so I'm glad I took the risk.  I went for a look that was inspired by the sunset and featured a siren eye with a smoked-out wing, and surprisingly, the formula was so easy to work with that it delivered a seamless blend.  To make a long story short, I think the Eye Love Surprises Eyeshadow Palette meets all of the criteria that I've set out for it.  A wide variety of hues to choose from?
